Hollywood.com is reporting that Alan Silvestri (The Avengers) has been tapped by Dreamworks Animation to score their upcoming 3D animated feature The Croods.
Written and directed by Chris Sanders (How to Train Your Dragon) and Kirk DeMicare, and staring the voices of Ryan Reynolds, Nicolas Cage, Catherine Keener, Emma Stone, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman, The Croods follows an introverted family who embarks on a dynamic journey guided by a resourceful newcomer.
Produced by Kristine Belson (How to Train Your Dragon) and Jane Hartwell (Shrek), the movie is Silvestri’s first project with Dreamworks.
The Croods is set for a release on March 22, 2013.
