Mark Mothersbaugh announced at the SXSW Festival that he will be scoring Warner Bros. Pictures’ animated feature film Lego.
No plot details have been released, but the film is said to feature both Lego-licensed and original characters and is targeted for a release in 2014.
Mothersbaugh is currently working on the music for Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania, which is set for a release in September, as well as the action thriller Safe starring Jason Statham coming out next month.
