Plans for the Future and Live Radio

These past few weeks are proof that I need to do more with Toon Radio than just the radio stream. I have to branch out and find something that actually makes short term money.

This does not mean that I am shutting down the audio stream. Far from it. The audio stream will remain as the back bone of the company. And there are still things I can do with it.

What I do mean that I need to add more services to this website of mine. This blog is a start, though I need to post more.

To help me figure out what I need to do, I am rewriting my business plan for Toon Radio. Right now, I am still working on the quick plan I threw together back in 2003. Things have changed since then. Toon Radio has changed, I have changed. The Internet has changed. The Business Plan should change as well.

I lost the old notes I used to write the first plan. So, I have to more or less start from scratch. At least, I can transcribe segments of the old plan when they still apply, and modify whatever needs to be modified. This should make writing the new plan easier and simpler to do, which is a good thing.

While I am writing the new plan, I am going to release new information on what I have in stored for you guys, including what stage in the planning process I am, as well as new features I decide worth adding.

The first new feature, besides the blog, is a brand new podcast/show. I am reviving Toon Radio Live as a talk and music show. Toon Radio Live will be a three to four hour live broadcast that will features music, guests, news, rants, and any other fun things we decide to come up with. The entire show will also be downloadable as a podcast. In fact, I can start Toon Radio Live as soon as the radio stream and website is back online next week. Hope to see you there. You participation would go a long way to improve the show and your enjoyment of it.

As for the blog, I got a review coming up. It will probably be online in a few days, so keep checking back here. I'll have more to say then.
